Dr. Nicholas Kemdi Ihenacho is a graduate of the University of Nigeria College of Medicine. He a specialist in Internal Medicine ( diseases of adults) and in a subspecialist in Nephrology (diseases of the kidney).
Dr Ihenacho completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta Georgia and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His fellowship or subspecialist training in Nephrology were at the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, Texas and at the University of New Mexico Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He was employed by a nephrology group in Alabama state before returning to Atlanta Georgia to found Vistas Medical Center (formerly, Kidney and Hypertension Center).
Dr. Ihenacho believes that in spite of the enormous challenges and responsibilities of his profession and vocation as a physician, the services that a physician renders to his patients remains one of the most interiorly rewarding and gratifying.
He also believes in quality affordable healthcare for all. This is the spirit and the principle that has guided Vistas Medical Center in its policy of serving its patients regardless of their health insurance status, that is, whether insured or not.
He is motivated to serve his fellow humanity, for the Greater Good, like he would want to be served, with love, respect, empathy and integrity.
